Greg was one of the founding members of Avista Capital Partners in 2005 and is a principal at the firm. Prior to Avista, Mr. Evans was at DLJMB Global Energy Partners from 2003 to 2005 and was involved in a number of DLJMB’s energy investments. Prior to joining DLJMB, he was an Analyst in CSFB’s Global Industrial and Services Group of the Investment Banking Department.

Prior to joining DLJMB, he was an Analyst in DLJ’s and CSFB’s Energy Corporate Finance Group.

Jeff serves as a director of ACP III Utica, Hansa Hydrocarbons, ACP II Marcellus, Spartan Offshore, Royal Offshore, Peregrine Oil & Gas II, Sidewinder Drilling and Top-Co.
Jeff has over 35 years experience working in the international oil and gas industry and is recognised as a successful industry entrepreneur having founded numerous companies. He currently serves as an Independent Director of KrisEnergy, an Asian focused E&P company that recently listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange. Following 15 years with Conoco as an oil field engineer and project manager, in 1994 Jeff founded Blackwatch Petroleum Services, a successful international E&P consultancy company. In 1999 he was a founder and CEO of Highland Energy a highly successful independent North Sea oil and gas company which was sold to RWE in 2002. He then founded and was CEO of Caledonia Oil and Gas, another successful North Sea independent oil and gas company which was sold to the German utility EON Ruhrgas in 2005. From 2006-2009 Jeff was a managing director at First Reserve Corporation, the world’s largest energy focused private equity firm.
Jeff holds a BSc (Hons) Civil Engineering from Glasgow University.
Prior to joining Avista Capital Partners in 2007, Trevor was the CEO of Trico Marine Services (“Trico”), an international provider of marine support vessel services to the offshore oil and gas industry. He led the successful turnaround of this company from a financially distressed Gulf-oriented operator to a well-capitalized offshore services provider with operations in the North Sea, West Africa, Gulf of Mexico, Brazil, Mexico and Southeast Asia. Trevor was recruited as CFO of Trico in 2003, functioned as the Chief Restructuring Officer during the company’s restructuring and subsequently was promoted to CEO after its successful completion. Trevor recruited operations and financial management teams who were critical to the successful execution of the company’s new internationally-focused strategy. Prior to his service at Trico, Trevor spent over a decade with DLJ and Credit Suisse in their investment banking divisions. During his tenure with DLJ and Credit Suisse, he focused on the energy sector, principally offshore and land drilling contractors, seismic service providers, oilfield equipment manufacturers, offshore support vessel providers and exploration and production companies, as well as regional opportunities in the Southwest.
Trevor received a B.A. from Duke University.
